Welcome to Mulgrave Basketball—your home for hoops on the Northern Beaches! Proudly based in Smithfield, we’re the only basketball association serving this vibrant community. From our youngest players in the Tiny Magic program (ages 4 and up) to seasoned athletes in their 70s, Mulgrave Basketball offers opportunities for everyone to enjoy, compete, and excel. Our members hail from across Cairns, the Northern Beaches, Tablelands, and Port Douglas, making us a true hub for basketball enthusiasts in the region.

Our Junior Representative Program, catering to players from U12 to U18, is where talent thrives. Players, coaches, and referees develop their skills while representing our community. For elite athletes, our Junior Advanced Training Squad (JATS) opens doors to incredible opportunities, including international tours and exposure to American colleges.

All our local competitions and most training sessions are conveniently held at the Marlin Coast Recreation Centre in Smithfield, with additional training sessions at local schools. Whether you’re new to the game or chasing your basketball dreams, Mulgrave Basketball is the place to be.
